The map below left is the Crash Map from the 2021 Walpole Master Plan. The map below right zooms in to the Walpole Village and Route 12 commercial zone sections and includes the circled areas 1, 3, and 4 designated as having “Safety Concerns.” It seems pretty obvious that, unless the intensity of development in the Walpole Village and Route 12 is moderated by Article 4, the safety of Walpoleans is at risk. More new drive-up window service businesses mean more crashes, and the severity of each crash is likely to rise dramatically.
